Pumpkin Spice, Not So Nice
All of you hoomans talk about how great this season is. Everyone is excited for cooler weather and something called pumpkin spice. I do not look forward to this season. When this season arrives, those worker hoomans start planning out what costume I can wear this year because, “Bettie would look so cute as…….” they claim. This costume inevitably involves the never-ending photo shoot that comes with it. I just suffered through one for my last blog because they all exclaimed, “Bettie would look so cute in a swimsuit laying on a towel.” THE DOCTOR actually went out of his way to purchase said swimsuit! That man obviously needs more to do. I expect this of those infernal worker hoomans who think of all sorts of ways to torture me but not him! Look, I know I am a photogenic gal and loved by all but enough is enough. Bettie is putting her foot down this year!
Let me just share with you some of the looks from over the years:
Bunny Ears - Why would a cat EVER want bunny ears? Good question! You will have to ask the worker hoomans what they were thinking on this day!
Santa Claws - I do not know who this Santa Claws is but he never does a thing for me! The only reason I can come up with for a cat dressing as such is because we do indeed have claws. As far as giving gifts, Bettie is the receiver of gifts and does not give them to anyone!
No Earthly Idea - I do not even know why this happened.
Cowboy Hat and Pink Frilly Thing - Do these really go together? Have any of you hoomans ever seen a cowgirl wear this?
Pirate - As if I am going to sail the high seas. As if any cat would volunteer to sail the high seas!
Return of the Cowboy Hat and Pink Frilly Thing - Apparently, they felt this was good enough to make a comeback. Nuff said!
Witch - Not only did they put this thing on my head, they added hair (as if I needed more) and made the hair green to top things off.
Return of The Pirate - Some of these just keep coming back. I guess the worker hoomans just run out of ideas some times and recycle these. Complete lack of originality!
Queen - Well, I am the queen ‘round here and quite deserving of this crown. Finally, something befitting to my true nature!
Santa (Without the Suit…..This Time) - Santa again, really? I am not amused!
Cool Kitty - I am the coolest but I do not need glasses to give off my cool vibe. Just being me is enough.
Who Knows What They Were Thinking??? - I look absolutely ridiculous!
Swimsuit Competition Winner - This one should be fresh in every hooman’s mind as it is from my last blog UNLESS YOU FAILED TO READ IT!
Well......now you know what I endure and can sympathize with me. ABSOLUTE TORTURE! Who knows what they will think up next?
